Vikings announce head trainer Eric Sugarman tested positive for COVID-19

The Vikings announced that their head athletic trainer, Eric Sugarman, has tested positive for COVID-19.
Sugarman was heading up the Vikings’ efforts to get their facility set up so that players could work safely with as little risk of exposure as possible, but Sugarman himself was somehow exposed, as was his family.

I wonder how old his kids are? These 16-23 year olds are out doing everything and not wearing masks. See the footage of the Chainsmoker's 'Drive In' concert in the Hamptons the other night?? They don't give a crap and their parents feel so bad for their babies because of COVID, they just let them do whatever they want.

I hope he is going to be ok. It's young and old alike. There are the young partiers and the older my rights and my freedom people who don't care about the health and safety of others. There are stupid people in all age groups. Sending positive and healing vibes to Sugarman and his family.

Covid doesn’t give a shit what we think. It will only go away once we do what we need to do to combat it. Its a virus. Wear a mask. It isn’t that hard.

will a mask make it go away?  I dont think so,  it will slow the spread,  but this thing will be around until we figure out how to kill it as its very unlikely that we are ever able to stop its spread,  even at a super slow rate it will likely find a way to keep creeping along until it blows up again.

That's exactly what the hospitals need. The idea is not to overwhelm the health care system at once. The blatant disregard for health and safety is putting people at risk and also demonstrating the flaws in the health care system.

what flaws in the healthcare system are being exposed?  pretty sure about the only thing coming to light is we dont have enough beds in many areas for a pandemic,  but honestly what system is prepared to bed 2-5 times the usual number of patients or more?

I wear them where I have to and dont go to places I dont have to go to.  IMO social distancing is going to be a better measure than people cramming into places and feeling secure because they have a piece of cloth across parts of their face,  I have seen to many idiots wearing masks in a manner that wont stop the spread of anything to think that the big mask push is what is going to reverse the trends.

and yes,  with all the idiocy that I have seen and heard,  it needs to be said that masks alone are not much prevention and certainly not going to end the spread.  Good hygiene, good diet, and other healthy life style practices as well as simply keeping our groups small and the circles tight will do as much or more to control the spread than what amounts to a flimsy piece of rag in many instances.   just look at the loopholes in the mask rules,  its safe to go into a fitness facility where people are sweating and panting without a mask?   the rules of this whole things are mind boggling at best.

I am too...  the only thing I can think of is that Jimmy just doesn't want to wear a mask. 


I have carried masks with me since before fuaci said that we should wear them,  I have no problem putting one on and have done so on many occasions.

Not just trainer....their "Infection Control Officer." That just shows you how much covid laughs at all of our attempts to control it.
