If you haven't watched the E60 story on his injury, I highly recommend it. They almost cut his leg off to save his life.

Vikings too with Pepp's career shot and Teddy's leg falling off.
Joe Theismann's leg injury and Alex Smith's injury both happened on November 18th.
Bridgewater, Smith - both almost had legs amputated. NFL must be scared to death one of these injuries will go a bit worse - a young man losing a limb on the field is going to be far more harmful to the image of football than concussion-related effects that usually don't have impact until decades after playing.
