Zimmer, 64, was entering the final year of his contract. The third-winningest coach in #Vikings history will now be tied to the franchise for several years to come. https://t.co/7h3fO2mY0E

That's good news. I am not ready to start over with a new coach yet.
Great news. Looking forward to seeing Zim finally get this team over the hump soon.
I'm at peace with this...Not a bad year for coaching continuity to say the least. Personally, I'd like to see Zimmer get a ring before he heads off to The Olde Kentucky Ranch.

I agree with you. Am I annoyed with how we play vs. really good competition at times? Of course. Then I take a step back and see how consistent the defense has been year in and year out. I know offense isn't his area of expertise, but i'd like to see some wins vs. Seattle, GB, and Chicago this year.

I have no expectations for anything resembling a normal football season.I still have serious doubts that they're going to pull it off at all...Only thing I can recall as crazy as this was the strike year, and a Pandemic tops that 3x.

Another year for Zimmer to coach through a nightmare. He's had some bad luck during his tenure here (losing his starting QB at beginning of season, a a detached retina etc.) and has probably brought on some shit himself (his issues with coaches he hires) - But I feel he has earned the extension.
