Easy. I think he's got a few pro bowls in his future.
There were very good reasons why folks didn't like the pick. Including me. A former tight end, he had put on a bunch of weight very quickly that obviously wasn't "real" weight..weight you earn through long term nutrition and time in the weight room. Secondly, he wasn't very good at the Senior Bowl. He had some good moments in practice, but he was awful early in the game, giving up a sack and several pressures on bull rushes by Marcus Davenport.
I remember thinking he was probably a 4th rounder after the Senior Bowl. I think his great combine is what got him taken in the 2nd.
Want to see a great, tenacious O'Neill pass block? Watch the deep pass from Cousins to Thielen in overtime against the Saints. He's one on one with Cam Jordan and moves him outside of Cousins pocket arc so that Kirk has time to set and throw. He's battling the whole play as Cam was bringing it. That's a tough matchup for any OL.
