Official Vike Fans Day Two Draft Thread

OMG The puke just took a TE from Cinncy that is the 191 ranked player on PFF. So a QB and RB that they did not need and a small TE.
This is our year to take over the division long term!

So another backup "skill player" and no help for the D in first 3 rounds. Gotta love the leadership in GB

I think Trautman from Dayton is a potential player. He is 6'6 around 255. He looked really good in the senior bowl running routes and aggressive blocking.

Just traded with Saints?
Saints traded picks No. 130, 169, 203 and 244 to the Vikings for pick No. 105.
I'm guessing the obscene amount of Day 3 picks is to offset the logistical difficulty to grab UDFA during the pandemic

disappointed but the 4th rd has many potential starter prospects and the 5th has many potential depth players

Al Davis still running the draft from beyond the grave
Going all Detroit in one draft.
Full Matt Millen

And here the nice young man with the man bun from PFF told me tackling wasn't important.
Both did receive dings on their tackling, but neither seemed way egregious. Both had technique stuff to clean up. What I did like was they both seem to be willing to stick their nose in and not shy away from contact, which is worse than making a businesses decision.
Also, thanks for editing out that freaking graph!
I really feel like Spielman screwed up the third round when there were some really good players who he could have traded up for. Maybe he tried and failed, maybe he wasn't willing to overpay to get what he wanted, but we could look back at this point in the draft and realize we passed over immediate contributors and potential starters that would have helped fill some of our glaring needs, especially at DT, to grab more picks. Not happy about that after he was doing so well and got the tackle I wanted.
