Aaron Rodgers on @PatMcAfeeShow: "We haven't picked a skill player in the first round in 15 years, so that would be kind of cool."

Rodgers says whoever the pick is, he'll track down his phone number and welcome him to the team tonight -- if the Packers don't trade out.

so lets play  here,  erin is mad,  erin makes a stink and doesnt want to play in gbay anymore since he was disrespected.  GBay wants 2 first round picks for him... who bites?   I have to think the niners jump at that chance,  erin is no longer mad,  he is still in the nfc, and gets the chance to 1-play back in norther cali,  2- stick it to green bay.

is there anybody in the AFC that is ready on d and has a good OL and weapons ready to compete?  honestly only a QB away?   the bills?  would buffalo then forever be known as the island of misfit toys?

In the win now department,  this pick doesn't help GB .

My inner geek is forcing me to correct that:

NE traded out of the 1st with the Chargers.

GB traded up from 30 to 26 with Miami.

Another puzzling pick by GB tonight.  

Rook RB Dillon is solid...but so are Aaron Jones & Jamaal Williams.  

Offensively, GB was most solid at QB & RB....yet that's where they went in the draft.  Very odd.  Which is great.

We've only had 1 HOF QB... and have never had the "support" of the refs.
