Placeholder For CB And Safety Prospects
https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/2020-nfl-draft-prospects-destined-for-the-nickel
I doubt we look at a guy this small, but that would be a mistake. Size of the fight in the dog...
Amik RobertsonCB, Louisiana Tech

From a physical tools perspective, Robertson clears the floor like a starting nickel. He’s wicked quick, has good explosiveness from flat-food techniques and a T-step out of his pedal. Robertson doesn’t necessarily have the greatest long speed to carry vertical routes, so being protected by slot play and capped safeties help him there.
Robertson should concern teams who see a lot of flexed tight ends or big slots, as he isn’t a candidate to handle anyone but the average-sized slot receivers of more traditional West Coast teams. But, if a team is certain it can get him on top of receivers who won’t be able to big-boy him with size, he’ll handle the slot machines of the league with confidence.
Are there limits on these virtual visits like the in-person top 30?? I feel like we’re virtually visiting with nearly every draft eligible player...

Love this guy. If we came out of the 3rd with him and Van, we'd be golden.

He's been a frequent pick of mine in the 7th. @FSUVike thoughts?

Former 5 Star recruit. I believe he had a pretty bad back injury in 2018 that hindered him last year.
Really enjoyed my talk with La. Tech CB Amik Robertson (@_YoungTruth7) over the weekend. He talked about how that the first thing that anyone mentions about him is that he’s 5’8”, but he only sees it as an opportunity.

It’s his confidence that stands out: pic.twitter.com/zoDfCffOlc

If we can't move up for Kinlaw if he drops I would want to maybe drop down some with either 22 or 25Vikes met with Kristion Fulton today, adding him to the list of possible CBS in round 1. How would you feel if the Vikings took Fulton at 22 and Josh Jones the OT they met with at 25?

After watching Antonie Winfield tonight, I really really want Amik Robertson.
For a later round CB/possible safety conversion has anyone looked at Harrison Hand from Temple? He’s a smart player, hard hitter, needs some technique work but sounds like someone who could be brought on for depth. One of the draft profiles I read said he has starter potential.
I really want us to draft Amik Robertson too. He’d bring some serious attitude to our defensive backfield.

Love Harrison Hand. Probably has the best burst and 2nd gear of any of the slot guys. Among the mid-round slot guys (I'm assuming we take an outside corner early), I like Darnay Holmes most, followed by Amik Robertson and Harrison Hand.

I just don't like the way he moves compared to Terrell and others. It's like Mims and Higgins. Mims is a 4.38 guy. Higgins is a 4.58 guy. That's a HUGE difference, but you don't see it on tape. If you watch their clips side by side, Higgins just moves better. He has more juice. You see him separate a little bit better. Is it footwork, body control, coordination, acceleration? I really don't have a clue, but you can see it.
