Terry Tausch, who played guard for the Vikings for seven seasons and won a Super Bowl with San Francisco, died Wednesday night at his home in Plano, Texas. He was 61.

Wow, so young. It's funny, I remember when he was drafted. I know I always say that--can't remember where I put my damn keys, but for whatever reason, I can remember every damn draft pick the Vikings have made, the round, the college, everything. Idiot savant or something like that.

I actually used TerryTausch as a screen name back in the early days of Viking forums. RIP Mr. Tausch.
