Under Florida law, only sparklers, approved by the Florida Division of State Fire Marshal, are legal for consumer usage. It is illegal to use exploding and/or flying fireworks in Florida, which include: shells and mortars, multiple tube devices, Roman candles, rockets and firecrackers.

Especially after his car wreck last year...

 I know the law was that when I was growing up but I thought it had changed because I know in the last 15 years or so there are stores all over selling exploding and flying fireworks like Phantom Fireworks. And these are professional or very close to it. But not that any Vikings fan would be in the market for, so, anyway, there you go.
