The #Vikings released a couple of high-priced veterans today, with DT Linval Joseph being released along with CB Xavier Rhodes. Joseph was slated to make $11.7M, as Rhodes was set to make $10.5M.

Sounds like Joseph might have been offered a reduced deal. Rhodes was not.

I had written last week that David Morgan's contract would toll unless the #Vikings made a move to release him and they have made that move.

Source says #Vikings releasing TE David Morgan but he could be re-signed at some point. The reason he's being released is his contract was due to toll and if he didn't pass a physical with his knee issues they could be on the hook for 2020 salary. If he's healthy, he could return@"JimmyinSD" said:

Those are my brothers names,  I wish mom and dad had chose the "cut" option on many occasions.

Ok, let's say Reiff and his now modest contract gets cut. Then what? Trent Williams is looking for $20 million a year. A sack of steaming shit just got $15 million a year in Arizona.
