- Following the suspension of its season due to the coronavirus, the XFL will allow its players to immediately sign with NFL teams.Players initially had to wait until the end of the XFL season to go fishing for NFL deals. Since no one knows when it might resume — 2021 seems most likely — there was no point in starting an acrimonious fight and keeping them under contract. I watched a few games just to see yhe level of play, and because even junior tackle / pop warner beats watching the NBA / MLB......
