If there is one guy who should just shut his yap, focus on football and not commercials, it's this guy. Grow up and act like a pro and not a frat boy. JFF 2.0.
I agree, however, Baker has more talent than JFF lol

You hate to judge a book by its cover, but can't you just see it sometimes? There are just some faces that invite fists and scream douchebag more than long-term NFL success. Jeff George, Jay Cutler come to mind. This is definitely another...

He has a lot in common with Johnny Manziel. Hopefully he doesn't go off the rails. Maybe he needed to be humbled and brought back down to earth. Welcome to reality a bit. With the commercials, he seemed like a bit of a character and that kind of spilled over into football. Guess we'll see what happens next season.
I just didn't get the commercials. "His house?" Puuuuleeeez.
Serving as a maintenance man in the Factory of Sadness is nothing to be proud of.

I dont follow him very closely, but I definitely like Mayfield better than Maziel. I wouldnt have an issue hanging with Mayfield from what Ive seen, but Manziel I would have punched in the face.

I'm a big Baker guy...he had to win the starting job in college TWICE as a walk-on. Most guys never accomplish that one time, so that's something I definitely respect. I think he has a bounce back year with Stefanski because it sure seemed like OBJ & Jarvis struggled to get open at times and I dont understand how that's possible other than scheme. Turnovers were a big issue for Baker, as well as accuracy, which is weird because he had such a great rookie season. He is noticeably thicker and gained some unnecessary lbs from Year 1 into year 2. Lose that weight and watch what you say to the media and haters and a lot of people will be back on the Baker train that gained a lot of momentum at the end of his rookie year.
The entire Brown Paper Champion thing sucked. He bought into the hype. Hopefully he learn if not then he truely is Johny Football 2.0
... after 30+ years of being door mats, I'm having a hard time envisioning Stefanski as the guy that delivered Cleveland a Superbowl...........
I wanna see how this plays out.
I frankly don't get he's Johnny Football all over again. They are polar opposite players, especially in college. Johnny had a substance abuse problem which led to other off the field issues. Baker had the public intox in college but what has he done in the pros that makes him Johnny 2.0? Baker almost won ROY where Johnny never had any consistent play in the pros. Not a good player comparison IMO.
I guess my simple comparisons was lost. Baker can continue his Twitter wars, pursuit of celebrity, and general immaturity and end up like JFF2.0.
No one has yet to point out to me that Baker is a laughably more TALENTED player. I've given proof to that end, whether it be combine results of accolades from their college careers.

I think you're using the wrong adjective. Johnny is without a doubt the more athletic player but Baker is definitely the more talented. The PFF stats will prove my statement to be correct as I believe Baker has two or three of their 5 or7 highest graded seasons by a college QB and was a 3 time heisman finalist, so I guess I just pointed it out?
He is not full blown Johnny Football but there are similarities. He bought into the hype. Of course hype and hyperbole is the nature of sports right now but Baker seemed to have more focus on things going on off the field. He can still turn it around if he gets his head out. The key is getting his head out and getting back to basics. Kudos to him for making the most of the business opportunities with the commercials but if he wants to be taken seriously, he needs to get his mind right.

Agreed with you there. Hes a young guy who took advantage of endorsements and opportunities without knowing how to balance the behind the scenes hard work. I think that'll change this offseason

Well, as they say on Law & Order, the jury is still out.
