It's time to go big or go home. Zimmer has nothing to lose at this point. Let Cousins audible. I am hoping for more of that with Kubiak. Hopefully with the continuity and stability the offense can improve.

I hope that happens.

As for continuity, in 2020 Kubiak (or his son?)  will be the 5th voice in 5 seasons that will be talking to Cousins in his helmet.  I wonder how much that matters?

Kubiak and Co. returning will help.

Is Stef the only offensive coach that won't return?

Here's an unpopular take...

At big moments? This team's big knockers haven't risen to the occasion. I've seen it  too often in past play-off games as well as important in-season games.

We'll see how much of this gets rooted out.

#11...for us old bastards, Joe Kapp's number...win at all costs...40 for 60...maybe if everyone on the roster adopts that same philosophy, we can get over the hump...

Good idea, Barr, but let's update that team credo. The roster has expanded from 40 to 53 and 40 for 60 no longer applies to the current team. 53 for 60 may not sound as sexy but it does ensure a full blessing from the football gods. You don't want 13 players not covered by football magic and going rogue. That shit leads to crazy in game happenings like costly interceptions, running backs fumbling, missed field goals, blotched punt returns, 12 players on the field and the list goes on.

Problem is that's been true for 59 years and counting... this franchise was already the choke champs of the NFL before any of the current players were even alive.  No rational explanation but it keeps happening over and over and over and... (insert headbang emoji)
As for who should be rooted out... goodbye Xavier Rhodes.  He hasn't been "himself" since week 17 of 2017 when some Bears rookie turned him inside out and 2019 he was just brutal.  Add in his salary and the magic 8-ball says "seeya".  And take Elflein with him.

it may not ring with motivation... but 0 for 60 seems to be closer to the truth.
