Who We Are Talking To
FIU QB James Morgan
Washington State C Frederick Mauigo
Arizona State C Cohl Cabral
Mississippi State C Darryl Williams
UConn OL Matt Peart
South Carolina State OL Jonathan Taylor
Kentucky OG Logan Stenberg
Houston OT Josh Jones
Washington OL Nick Harris
Auburn S Jeremiah Dinson
Notre Dame S Jalen Elliott
Lenoir-Rhyne S Kyle Dugg
QB James MorganMorgan, who started his career at Bowling Green before transferring to FIU, has outstanding size, smarts, and arm strength. He’s a classic pocket passer with deceptive mobility. His arm is strong enough to make all the passes on the NFL level and Morgan does a great job using all his weapons. Four FIU receivers have at least 20 receptions or more this season. He’s an accurate passer and has completed just under 59% of his throws. Morgan has tossed just 2 interceptions this season compared to 10 touchdowns for the Panthers.
Even if FIU does not make a post-season bowl game, Morgan will get an opportunity after the regular season to display his skills in front of NFL scouts. He’s already accepted an invitation to the Shrine Game, which will give him a decided advantage to secure a spot in the NFL Draft in Las Vegas.
Accurate with a less than 59% completion? WRs must have had hands of stone.
Why are we talking to multiple centers? perhaps position swap for one of the 5 7ths we will end up with?

In my perfect world I draft a Left Tackle in the 1st who can kick inside and play Left Guard for one season if Reiff agrees to a restructure. A Center/Guard in the later rounds is competition for Samia and a legit backup for Bradbury in case of injury or if he doesn't continue to progress for some reason.
Elf is currently the backup Center. Can you imagine what a dumpster fire it would be if he had to play a lot of snaps there? He's regressed two straight years, the last of which came under really, really good coaching. Pat cant handle power or speed. That's an ugly combination.

I dont know how his college measurables and intangibles looked coming out of The Ohio State? But yah he has regressed.REmmers and Elf; nightmarish reminders of how bad OG play can almost single-handily ruin an offense.

We need more push from the middle, and need to find the replacement for an aging Griffen - unless we feel he's already on the team or we find one thru free agency.
Why are we not interviewing Javon Kinlaw from S. Carolina??

most likely wont be there when we pick, and they will still be able to talk to him at the combine if they so choose.
