Care And Feeding Instructions For Wounded packer Fans
For those of you with obnoxious (is there any other kind?) packer fans in the office today, here are some suggestions for dealing with them today.
First, ignore the impulse to get in their collective faces first thing. They are expecting it. Leave them alone for an hour or so. It will lull them into a false sense of security. It also gives them additional time to heal, thus making opening up the scar tissue much more painful later.
Strike up a normal conversation with them first. Maybe some inane work topic. A minute or so in, hold up one finger and say " wait a minute...wait a minute"...pause and say... "I think the Niners just scored again". At that point, you can just start to riff...some suggestions...another year wasted for rodgers...did the D forget it was legal to tackle a RB in the first ten yards?...etc...

Bring up how Troy Aikman talked about the emasculating of the Packer's and he never mentioned that the week before. Then ask who they liked better Joe or Troy.
Ask if they volunteered for the search party...to find their lost manhood

Thats a lot of decades of superior play at the most important position in sports. As a Viking fan, I'm envious they were able to get 2 SB's during that time.
As a Packer fan? I'd probably be disappointed in it.
Both the Packer's fans at work quit before this season started.
I heard one Rodgers fan at break talking about what a shame he won't be in the Super Bowl. I didn't get into anything with her. She's only a casual fan. I laughed on the inside and smiled a big smile.

I will just add that Farve was 1-1 in the SB. I hope this guy never gets a chance to better that.

as far as the care and feeding of packer fans, screw it. Let them rot.
Ok so can we just admit now. Worst 13-3 team ever. Given no less then 2 wins on bad calls and they still would have been an overrated 11-5 team.

Somehow I imagine Rodgers will be given a few more opportunities. Bet on it.
