Refs ruining football
Not only did this unnecessary roughness call result in a penalty that moved Buffalo out of field goal range and may have lost them the game, but the NFL, after reviewing, fined Ford an additional $28K. Has everyone gone crazy?
15 yards in a major spot and $28k. For this.pic.twitter.com/4Wxi9IYZoU

“A gentleman is someone who can play the accordion, but doesn't." - Tom Waits
WTF?
That is horseshit.
And the announcer is an idiot.
So it’s apropos that we draw Walt Coleman the flag throwing machine today... :s
I really don't like seeing these blind side blocks called when there isn't a clear intent to light up or destroy a guy - I guess I feel like the play is adapting to the rule but the rules aren't adapting to instinctive play. That's a lineman on a linebacker chasing the quarterback. Come on...
The lineman could have laid out the guy but instead squared him up and engaged in a solid block.
I wonder (rhetorically, joking) how many times offensive tackles get turned around by DE's and end up "blocking towards their own goalline" during a game. Can you even block a guy who's in pursuit of a Quarterback from behind?
head in front, above the waist, no helmet use should be completely legal. The league is simply overcompensating to set up their litigating position down the road, which will be thoroughly tested...
Wow I missed how bad that Bosa block was during the game. Calling it a BS move puts it lightly.
Maybe someone on the Vikes should stand up to a tough team for once. Unreal. But it is clear as they sit now when they get punched, they shrivel.

Vikings radio broadcast (Bercich, Leber) both portrayed it as a cheap shot.
TV broadcast showed one split screen 2 second clip and never discussed it. It didn't fit their narrative of building UP Bosa.

What I think pisses me off the most is coleman watched it happen and didnt throw the flag, looking right at it and was going to let it go.
When ONeill had to leave for evaluation that should have DQd Bosa right there. Anytime a player gets taken out illegally the rules should take the opposing player off the field as well.
