Some Saints players are in a huff...But Peyton was pretty level-headed:

Saints coach Sean Payton didn't have any complaints about Sunday's call after the game.
When asked if he got an explanation from the officials, Payton said: "Listen, that wasn't ... Really, I didn't see any officials (after the game). I saw Mike (Zimmer), we chatted for a little bit. And saw some of the (Vikings) players we coached in the Pro Bowl and congratulated them. They did a good job, they played well."
Payton suggested multiple times that the Vikings "deserved to win."

I guess Steve  never taught Cam to be a gracious loser.

For a DB he was pretty humble in the loss.

It was typical hand fighting on a jump ball in the end zone...  contact from both players while the ball is in the air.  If Williams gets his head around early and plays the ball instead of Rudy, maybe it's not completed.

Just a bunch of drummed up drama...

Well when you talk shit and don't back it up, it gets rather raw.

Gotta love Cams comments about the ref.  Guess he doesn't realize that they have won 14 of 16 games they have reffed.

No one should be buying into the Saints whining.  They cried all off season got the rule changed and then their fan base, their players and the media act like they are owed to get every call for the rest of eternity.  All of these reporters who want to call it PI are totally irresponsible and just trying to get themselves air time.

What's funny is nobody is bringing up Cooks TD that likely wasnt if there was a better camera angle.

I actually had a Puker acquaintance of mine post on my Facebook page that the Vikings got "help" from the refs.  I gave him this.....

Even ESPN is pushing this narrative to rile up the Saints fans. If anything, the DB was the first one to initiate contact on the route and the hand fighting continued through the catch. If Rudy was really pushing off, there would have been much greater separation. If that happened to us, we wouldn't be happy with the call either, but the VP of officiating was right that the play did not rise to a level of a foul and was consistent with how they have been calling them all year. Except for the one we got screwed on in Green Bay.

There were a handful of plays in the OT of the 2009 NFC Championship game, they would only need to show 3 to shut up everyone that's talking about that last play to Rudolph.

i seem to remember a phantom PI call on us at the end. Was it called on our LB ?? it was a horrible call in 2009.

I really thought the refs did a good job overall today. Didn't seem to affect the game for either side imo. As far as push offs, now that one by Rudolph didn't even register till they talked about it. Looked like a normal corner end zone play that you see all the time.

I'm so happy this is an issue. Good. Sucks when you don't get a call... or maybe a half dozen (2009) go your way.

This is karma for the Saints. Fuck Sean Payton and that org (minus Brees... he and I'm sure a few others are good dudes).
