I have a hard time believing this Viking team has any fight left in them after Monday night.  What we see, is what we get.
Reserves or not, I'm thinking this Viking team won't see another win this season.  Hope I'm wrong, but I don't think so.

1VikesFan again wins as the Vikes limp into the post-season.
Good luck, Vikes.

Damn...anyone actually watch this game? Vikings 3rd string against the Bears starters for the entire 2nd half. 3rd stringers actually did better than the 2nd stringers. It was definitely good see a little bit from Boyd, Udoh, Samia and company.

I was actually pretty impressed with the Vikes backups today.

Oli Udoh played pretty well against Khalil Mack...

From Olson: Udoh got a 79.7 in pass pro (zero pressures allowed, highest grade on team) and a 63.7 in run blocking, but the two penalties drove his overall grade down to 53.4.

I don't remember what the other penalty was, but the roughness call was bullshit.

Pretty good outing for the first game started. The staff had to be pleased. He's a big strong dude. He'll get better.

I don't know the answers to these questions, but if Udoh can play right tackle next season and if O'Neill can play left, we can save a hell of a lot of money next season by releasing Reiff...who probably signed his departure in that Green Bay game.

Put me down for this exact scenario. I've been bitching about Reiff since he signed with the Vikings.

Statistically, he had his best season since 2014, but that was before the Green Bay game.

It would be nice to have a little more experience than O'Neill and Udoh starting on the edges, but it's not worth $13M. This may also clear a path to sign Hill, who could provide a little security.
