Pick it - Vikes vs Cheese!

The Vikes can make a statement here
with a big win at home following a very strong showing on the road last
week. Many thought we'd see a nail biter against the Chargers, but it
ended up being an incredibly embarrassing performance from the home team;
especially from the QB Rivers.
Can the home team Vikings bring GB
down to earth, and frustrate Rodgers once again? I think they can, and
will. It's not going to be easy missing Cook and probably Mattison, so I expect
the offense will bring a creative run game. Boone might surprise by
breaking off some big chunks, but he's got big shoes to fill, and I think the
coaching staff won't put that kind of pressure on him.
I think the Vikes will want to run
just enough to make the play action work to find Thielen, Diggs, Smith, Rudy,
and company; probably a nice mix of screens too. Keeping GB off the
field and the defense fresh is key.
I'm all in with the home team - SKOL!

@"Jor-El" said:I think Green Bay will win, because the Vikings - Zimmer specifically - will try to "strategize". Zimmer knows he can't win the division, because even if he beats GB, then the Packers will go all out against Detroit - he certainly won't count on Kyle Sloter to help him win the division. So they're a wildcard, maybe locked up before the game. Since they are likely the #6 seed with a good chance of playing the Packers in round 1, Zimmer won't show any special looks or tricks, choosing to save them for the next match. Cook is out, he may rest Thielen and others.. I think it's bad to go into the playoffs on a slide, and I doubt the fans will appreciate a weak effort in USB, so I hope I am wrong.
Wow, were you right, Jor-El or did the Vikes just get their asses kicked? I do agree we fans didn't appreciate the weak effort. It reminded me of the Seattle game... only way worse.

I had to spend the first half in a Hudson restaurant so it was great that the Cheesers were subdued - glad I was home in the second half.
Do people go back and look at some of the ridicules scores they predict???
And think wow I was wrong about this team?

When the Vikings clinched a postseason tix I figured they'd be nice and loose and win a close one.
Who could have predicted our ol getting that dominated by Packers front 7 and such a shitty game plan????
AT was supposed to shine last night, makes me wonder how far back he really is?
