GAME DAY! Preseason Game 1 ~ 08/15 ~ Giants

After rewatching JJ’s dropbacks, feels like more of the same from camp.

His timing just isn’t consistent yet. There have been good and bad days, and yesterday was mostly bad. Sitting in that room of vets and running scout team could/should be a great benefit to him.

I will respectfully disagree, Buddy. He is highly regarded as one of the best play by play radio announcers in the NFL.

It was a great throw. Never been an issue for JJ. Seems to be able to make the difficult throws, but he absolutely is reading things too slow yet. He actually didn't look bad at all at the end of the day. Just needs some work yet.

After last year, how in the fuck is Matt Daniels NOT fired. I mean holy shit. Last year should have shown you enough.

Yesterday was my first listen. It will be my last. Couldn’t even make it to halftime. Giants broadcast was much more informative. You know, things like down, distance, stuff like that.

But, loud noises are cool too.

I mean, how can you really grade or form an opinion from anything we saw from the quarterbacks in that game? Wentz had a couple moments, but he's a 10 year vet who's played in several different systems, and was playing basically against the practice squad...so he should of had some moments. Would I have liked to see more from Murray and JJ? Absolutely, but I don't know that any conclusions should be formed based on yesterday

Non- rhetorical genuine question...... Do you fire the coach or the player when the player ignores the coaching/assignment and goes off script?

If one of my people on my team went against something that was no supposed to happen, I self-reflect. It is my job to not create that atmosphere and allow my leadership to be respected so they won't do that.

I think at some point, you have to start thinking of the coach and figure out why your team goes rogue.
