Man, Landon Dickerson would be a great add. Through the pros and college he’s played every position. Under contract next year. Fleece Howie again.

So used our 1st and 3rd on DL and a 3rd on OL, then didn't a RB until the 6th in a great RB draft and now are looking to spend more draft picks on the DL and OL. That is really disappointing and just a product of terrible drafting. Your 1st round pick should not be a project, needs to be someone who can come in and start. If we had a competent GM the past 3 years with just average drafts, we would be a legit Super Bowl contender right now.
"IF" they make any move?
My $$ would be on OL or DL before a Rb
The greatest improvements for this team need to come with the play-calling and current roster.
Hurry-up Vikings, we ain't getting any younger!

NFL trade notes, per sources:
• #Chargers have been hesitant to trade players for now.
• #Steelers looking for WR/CB help.
• #Vikings in the OL/DL market.
• #Giants are looking for RB/DT.
• #Bears remain active on the defensive side.
• #Browns are “less likely” to move WR Jerry Jeudy at the moment.
Wish we could loosen up the Chargers a bit, get them to consider trading a RB
It’s roster malfeasance if they don’t move Taylor. They’re in a tear down. A 27 year old RB isn’t going to be around to see the fruits of the rebuild.

Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is known for high-intensity training regimens focused on explosive power, ankle and foot health, and mental visualization. [1, 2, 3]
Key Elements of Jonathan Taylor's Training
Heavy Strength Training: Taylor is known for moving massive weight in the gym, notably performing back squats up to 550 pounds with ease.
Foot and Ankle Care: After dealing with ankle injuries, he incorporated specialized foot instruments, isometric holds, and ground-up stabilization work (influenced by routines shared with teammate Quenton Nelson) to protect his lower legs and maintain elite top-end speed.
Explosive & Speed Work: His offseason training features high-velocity tools like pulse sleds to help build breakaway speed (reaching up to 23 mph), eccentric trap bar deadlifts, single-leg kettlebell squats, and Bulgarian split squats.
Mental Conditioning & Recovery: Taylor utilizes mental body scans and visualization techniques before reps, alongside flexibility work like hot yoga for mobility and edge recovery
Maybe 27 is the new 24. Henry not slowing down. Maybe Taylor has more tread on the tires than expected.

If we had a great QB and were a player away from a Super Bowl run, I think Taylor would make sense, but we just are not good enough at QB where I think it makes sense to make the move. Would rather use that 2nd round pick on a RB in the draft who would be younger and on a rookie contract.

That’s how you do it when you have a QB, I think Minnesota isn’t quite sure what they have yet…
I think we were just fine with Donavon Jackson. Dude was really playing well this year.
We can debate all we want about the Vikings being serious contenders or not, but only one opinion truly matters: Nolan Teasley’s. What he does between now and the trade deadline will tell us everything we need to know. A big name acquisition says this can be THE year.

There now have been seven in-season trades. Since 2022, there have been an average of 17 trades per year from Oct. 1 up until the trade deadline. In each of the past two seasons, as it has become trendier to make blockbuster deals, there have been 18 trades from Oct. 1 up until the deadline.
This year’s deadline is Tuesday Nov. 10.

A big reason why our previous GM was fired. Banks was drafted coming off injury. He will probably take a season to get up to speed physically and mentally. Fortify our trenches? Absolutely! We suffered through terrible OLs for years. It effects everything you can do on offense as well as fortifying the DL effects the defense.

I dont know what football life will be like yet under Teasley? I do know I was against trading JJM this year (especially for a 5th-rd pick.)
But 6/0, some good O weapons (and arguably the best D and ST's in the league) just might be as good as life gets for us Viking fans. That and we have to hope that K1 will improve
I dont think now is the time to pause or overthink it vs boldly amplifying their chance to win in the post season.
Nothing dumb, but be bold.
But, I dont expect anyone from Eagan calling for my very learned POV either ;)
