Ojomo as a one year rental could be interesting. You’re probably getting back more if he leaves in FA. Insurance if Redmond gets too expensive.

Moro Ojomo is considered an ideal trade deadline target for the Minnesota Vikings. Leading up to the NFL trade deadline, national pundits—including The Athletic’s Daniel Popper—have prominently labeled the Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle as a perfect roster addition for Minnesota's defensive front. [1, 2]
Ojomo is highly valued as a midseason trade fit for the Minnesota Vikings due to several factors:
Interior Pass-Rush Boost: Brian Flores’ defense has been exceptional, but the interior defensive line has seen a mixed bag of analytical performance from its younger pieces like Caleb Banks and Domonique Orange. Ojomo offers immediate, proven penetration, having logged 15 to 16 pressures through seven games this season (ranking among the top 25 interior linemen). [1, 2, 3]
Playoff Rental & Compensatory Pick Plan: Ojomo is in the final year of his rookie contract. Because the Eagles are struggling and facing a tight cap situation, they are expected to move him rather than lose him for nothing in free agency. For the undefeated (6-0) Vikings, renting Ojomo for a Super Bowl push makes complete sense—especially since letting him walk in free agency next March could net Minnesota a valuable 2028 compensatory draft pick
Championship Experience: Ojomo was a key rotational piece during the Eagles' recent Super Bowl LIX victory, bringing invaluable championship pedigree to a young Vikings room

Two NFC contenders got significantly better today. If the Vikings want to seriously contend in January, they can’t take half measures with improving this offense.

Nolan Teasley knows Seattle’s trade approach. Could he bring that aggressiveness to the Vikings?https://t.co/lBT7dFr52e#vikings #SKOL
— The Viking Age (@TheVikingAge) October 28, 2026
At 6-0, the Minnesota Vikings are likely to be buyers ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline. But with first-year general manager Nolan Teasley in charge, fans aren’t sure how aggressive he’ll be. Hired in June, Teasley has spent his first four months on the job evaluating the roster as it got off to a fast start, but his strategy may have been tipped after the Seattle Seahawks acquired Quenton Nelson on Tuesday.
According to The Ringer’s Tom Pelissero, the Seahawks sent the Indianapolis Colts a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick in exchange for Nelson, and also picked up the remaining $9.7 million of his salary in the final year of his contract.
Under John Schnedier, a former assistant general manager in Seattle’s front office, the Seahawks’ aggressiveness is worth monitoring. It could also hint that Teasley is cooking something up as the Vikings near the deadline.
Nolan Teasley could bring the Seattle Seahawks trade blueprint to the Minnesota Vikings
While working with the Seahawks, Schneider and Teasley rarely saw a trade they didn’t like. Vikings fans have pointed to Sam Darnold’s decision to head to Seattle after the 2024 season as the reason the Seahawks won the Super Bowl, but the front office’s previous trades involving quarterback Russell Wilson and wide receiver DK Metcalf played a key role in building the team around him.
Another step in that process came as the Seahawks wheeled and dealed at the trade deadline over the years. Seattle acquired key pieces in those deals, including defensive tackle Leonard Williams, linebacker Ernest Jones IV, and wide receiver/kick returner Rashid Shaheed, and those players helped the Seahawks claim a Super Bowl without bottoming out to accumulate draft capital.
Although Teasley wasn't the general manager, he was heavily involved in that process. According to his bio on the Vikings website, Teasley evaluated the other 31 NFL teams, identified targets, evaluated player value, and built the framework used in negotiations. Teasley also used data models to project value, longevity, and financial cap impacts of potential trades and used his football background to bridge the gap between the front office and the coaching staff.
Teasley has a chance to make his first major statement with the Vikings
That resume is part of why Teasley was chosen to replace Kwesi Adofo-Mensah last offseason. But Vikings fans have yet to see it in action. While this could be labeled “putting his stamp on the team,” it also puts him in a role similar to his with the Seahawks: finding pieces that could aid a push for a championship.
The Vikings have no shortage of needs going into the deadline. Running back, offensive guard, defensive tackle, and edge rusher depth are just some of their needs that could lead to a trade or two at the deadline, even if it doesn’t send shockwaves through the NFL as Nelson’s trade did on Tuesday afternoon.
Whatever Teasley has in mind, there’s likely something in the works, and it could make the Vikings an interesting team to follow leading into the deadline.

If Jonathan Taylor is available in trade, the Colts could hold him out of action on Sunday
The Colts are open for business, as evidenced by the Tuesday trades that sent offensive lineman Quenton Nelson to the Seahawks and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner to the 49ers. The next question, with 13 days left in the 2026 trading window, is whether anyone else will be traded.
Running back Jonathan Taylor has emerged as an obvious candidate. His wife has posted no fewer than three videos on the subject in recent days, and Taylor has acknowledged the existence of trade rumors.
Here’s the question that will become more pressing as the week unfolds. If the Colts have decided to take the best offer they get for Taylor — and if they’ve yet to get an offer they like — the process could linger beyond the coming weekend. That will force the Colts to decide whether to play Taylor or whether to hold him out of action.
On Monday night, the opportunity for the Eagles to trade running back Saquon Barkley became complicated by the aggravation of his hamstring injury, followed by a back injury. For all anyone knows, seeing Barkley get injured may have prompted the Colts to move Nelson and Buckner before they suffered an injury, too.
Taylor plays a position that is conducive to injury. If the Colts make him a healthy scratch on Sunday, it will be the most obvious indication that a trade is coming. Unless it happens before then.
