Joe Walsh ✔ @WalshFreedom

I’m a conservative, but I have no doubt that Donald Trump’s actual authoritarianism is a much bigger threat to this country than any of the Democrat’s hoped-for socialism.

Put another way: I’m way more afraid of a dictator than I am of a guaranteed jobs program or free college.

Is this thing on?

how is that a bigger threat?  honestly.    Trump is a president in a system of checks and balances and if he is to over the top he will get voted out by the same people that voted him in so how is that a threat to the country?   the dems ( progressives) are trying to completely change the direction of our govt to grow it even bigger and give it more control of more aspects of our lives.. how is that not a bigger threat to Americans than 1 guy and his limited power?

Obama's authoritarianism?  Bush?  Clinton?  They all used massive amounts of executive orders.

I think hot takes are a much bigger threat to our country than Trump's actions.

No kidding. Each claimed more power then the last, which got us to here.  Whoever is next will claim more then Trump.  We've been trending this way since Woodrow Willson.

trump has signed about 10 more EO per year than obama did,  which equates to about a 20% increase... now what these orders did and what they cost the US,  that would be more concerning than the actual numbers themselves.
