Seems the Vikes didn't like what they saw from Sherels.  Maybe the old injury is still bothering him.

Apparently he became expendable with Mike Hughes recovery.  Sherels was inactive last week.

This.  Hughes can return punts, so Sherels didn't have good value anymore.  Zimmer looks to be rotating his DBs more now, and why not with the 4th guy seemingly as good as the starters.

As mentioned earlier Vikes will add a receiver before Thursday. MS is most expendable.

Maybe Marcus can be this year's "Jack Tocho."  You know, one of those guys that's cut and resigned like three times during the season...
