Cowherd FoxSports: 'I love everything about Minnesota.....'
#1
"...except their QB. I love their defense, I love their D-line, Cook is one of the best young RBs in the league, Zimmer is one of the most underrated HCs in the NFL, great WRers,  offensive line is improved, the organization is sound....but the team is limited with Kirk Cousins".

One man's opinion. Has the Vikings rated #6 overall in the league with his Herd Hierarchy.

Kirk has done everything but win. He has nothing else left to prove as an NFL QB.  Marino, Kelly, Tark never won it all but i believe Cousins has the ability to put a team on his back.   That may be a homer take but he’s our guy for this window

He probably has a low opinion of Jim Kelly, Dan Marino and Warren Moon too...

I don't know if Cousins can get the team there or not. I know Cousins can play very well. He's accurate. He's smart. What can he do with a talented team around him and a better offensive line than last year? Not sure....but we are going to find out this season. He fumbles....and he fumbles because he stands strong in the pocket. He's got the onions to hang in there with chaos around him, I like that about him. The TD pass to Thielen was another example of that.

I really don't know. He's one of these lovable dorks that you want to do well. He's genuinely vanilla whitebread. But he doesn't try to be anything else. He's not cool by any stretch, but he doesn't pretend to be and his teammates like that I think.

I don't like Cowturd but yeah even Kirk said he needs to win. We'll have to wait and see what happens.

There is a big difference between not winning a Super Bowl and not winning period.  When you are 4-24 against teams with winning records, you still have a lot to prove.  Marino, Kelly and Tark all got their teams to the Super Bowl and won consistently against good teams and in big games.

The Vikings have been limited by their QB since Favre in '09 and many years before that.  I think KC is a step up from Keenum, but he's definitly a second tier QB.  I do think he's about as good as Bradford, and is a better passer than Teddy, but he's nowhere near the player Favre was in '09.

Foles recently proved you don't have to be a HOF QB win a SB.  Just have an excellent supporting cast and be good enough.

I had to look away when he was doing whatever he was doing in the endzone after his TD.  Man, that was so bad.  B)
