The wide receiver then turned his attention to special teams, as he was the only holder in practice during field goals.
Beebe held on three snaps from Kevin McDermott as Dan Bailey was good from 33, 36 and 39 yards.
Beebe later held four times with Austin Cutting as the long snapper. Bailey was good from 41 and 43 yards, but his 45-yard try hit the right upright and his 48-yard attempt went wide right.

Yep. I was there and heard that doink. I am sick and tired of that sound. I kept hearing wide left. Grr.

We all knew Cutting would win the job if he was cleared to play.  They drafted him to replace McDermott.  Also to add cap space.

If somebody is shocked that Cutting is the guy, they don't understand how the Draft works. McDermott now has an opportunity to catch on somewhere else before the season starts.
