Really? The team is going to try and get another kicker??

Sigh. If I'm a kicker, I'm staying far away from the Vikings. Its the kiss of death to sign with them since Zimmer has been coach.

At least four teams have called the Ravens to inquire about trading for kicker Kaare Vedvik, with at least two of those calls coming from NFC North teams, per a league source. Ravens don’t have to do anything in the short term, but will deal the kicker at some point this summer.

I saw this just before you posted it. With Prater and Crosby fairly secure in Detroit and Green Bay, the two teams have to be the Vikings and Bears.

I'm wondering if the constant fucking around with the snapper and holders could be having an affect on Bailey?

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, at least four teams have injured about trading for Ravens K Kaare Vedvik.Vedvik looked unstoppable in Thursday's preseason opener, converting all four field goals and both of his extra-point attempts with a long of 55 yards. Per Schefter, two of the teams showing interest hail from the AFC North. While no trade is imminent, Schefter confirmed the kicker will be dealt "at some point this summer." He could be a fit for the Jets, who are looking to fill their kicker need following Chandler Catanzaro's surprise retirement. Currently on a Hall of Fame trajectory, Justin Tucker remains the Ravens' long-term kicker.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Ravens traded K Kaare Vedvik to the Vikings for a 2020 fifth-round pick.Vedvik was on the trading block all offseason but talks escalated after he went 4-for-4 on his field goals, including a 55-yarder, during the preseason opener. The Vikings have been haunted by their kickers for what seems like decades. Vedvik, who is also an NFL-caliber punter, should fix Minnesota's kicking concerns.
