Anthony Barr's 2019 cap hit revealed, and it's lowThe deal is for five seasons at a total of $67.5 million per year ($13.5 million average) and includes $33 million in guarantees. With incentives, the deal could be worth up to $77.5 million. According to Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, the deal includes a $13 million signing bonus and his cap hit for the 2019 season will be 5.6 million. Without any other roster moves being made, that would leave the Vikings with about $2.5 million in cap space remaining.

Beautiful. It seems pretty simple, they are going to get the necessary cap space through Everson. Seems as if Barr’s contract includes sack incentives which means he will playing the edge a lot (relieving Everson of his pass rushing duties), splitting time with Weatherley.

I like this deal a lot as he is a better player in a dynqmic position versus read and react.

Barr, Weatherly, Hunter will be after the QB a lot this year. Griff stays, maybe he moves inside and takes some of the pass rushing DT roles left by Richardson
