At a time when the Bears seemed to be flirting with the possibility of adding running back Kareem Hunt, another team has beaten them to it.
The Cleveland Browns have announced that Hunt has been signed to a contract.

yep,  but its a for profit industy and as long as those spending the money dont remember (or dont care) ... well then whats the harm?

I don't know. I guess we'll find out. Probably helps that Nick Chubb is one of the best young backs in the NFL. Probably helps that the Browns are doing it now when bad PR will be at a minimum. Browns probably see it as currency. We already have our back, let the NFL dole out its punishment and we'll trade Jackson to a team who loses its back to injury.

Well there is video to refresh our memories. These guys need self awareness. You are not the average Joe. Everyone deserves a 2nd chance. If he wastes it that's on him. The NFL is about talent vs risk. Always has been. The difference is now these incidents get caught on video which makes it harder to just pay off the people and bury.
