I think it is funny.  Everyone knows the difference between weather and climate.  And most conservatives know that invoking them in humor will create enough hot air from the left to counteract the polar vortex.  Well done Mr. President, than you for doing your part.

Doesn't  have a clue about the relationship of heat and energy, latent heat of phase change in a thermal system.   Best thing that can come out of it is they have the same grasp of adaptation.

Well there is some good news. NBC has recently changed its policy about climate change. It will no longer invite climate deniers on its shows to "debate" the issue, as if there were one. About 10 years too late, NBC, but baby steps.
