Dirk Koetter?

I'll take him as the OC. He did pretty well with the Bucs as a playcaller. Granted that 500 yard game with 3 points only scored is baffling.

Granted my opinion of Koetter is pretty low due to his lackluster time at ASU and he has done better in the NFL, but throwing around names like Koetter and Mularkey don't exactly make me feel excited about the offense. Tampa did somehow gain a lot of yards last season, but they also turned over the ball a bunch and didn't have a great rushing attack. How much of that is personnel and how much is Koetter remains to be seen, but he's a mixed bag at best right now.

Dirk is kinda funny. He says some really funny I don't give a Sh!t stuff in his pressers. When it started becoming obvious he was losing his job he was even funnier. Maybe it's my sarcastic sense of humor. I really thought he was funny saying stuff like. I don't know they haven't call me into the office yet. He hates dealing with the media as much a Mike does. That would be fun. Mike can deflect blame on everyone else and Dirk can say plain and simple. I sucked. I should be fired.

Here's my favorite.

Still, Koetter had his moments of open honesty, sometimes letting his feelings out to a fault. Remember, he is the coach who said the Glazer family had "courage" for keeping him for the 2018 season, which was as head-scratching a statement you could hear from a head coach.

BOOOOOO!!!  I wanted Mularkey here!  Oh well...

If Stefanski ends up leaving... what choices does that leave us with?

Zimmer might be getting talked about behind his back. 2 OC's fired in-season. Oh yeah I forget Norv quit on his own. We may not be anybody's top choice. Sad because it's not like the offense is void of talent.

The way it seems to be going in hiring a new OC...the Vikings will end up taking whoever is left.  They better get on the ball or we will have a repeat of this last year.

Mabye but they would not need to talk about him.  The facts are there for all potential OCs to see.
You get a well respected long time OC and former coach (who is older) that decides he just is unable to work with Zimmer anymore and has to leave during the season.
You get a young hot OC (everyone though JDF was all that and a bag of chips last year) who gets canned after 14 games.
If you are a candidate, young or old, you have to be asking yourself "do I want to go there to see what it is like"?
Add in the fact that Zimmer has one year left on his deal (which they probably will extend) and it's tough to really want to come here.
Having said all that, there still are only 32 jobs so somebody will give it a go.
But something is not right.
