"Delusional" is the word that comes to mind.

Damn...
Not funny. I thought you were serious. Guess I should have know. Treadwell is a wasted pick soon to not be our problem.

He’s as clueless off the field as he is on it. Just glad I won’t have to see his ass wasting a valuable roster spot on the field or on the team any longer.

Isn't he still too expensive to cut?

I honestly would be surprised if he even knew what our record was from this past season.

Look at his dead money situation. He's going into his fourth year on his rookie deal, and he was a 1st rd. pick.

He’s not be going anywhere. I’d be very surprised anyhow. Based on his contract they might as well keep him. I know people consider him as taking a roster spot but no one is beating down the door to take it from him. There’s an opportunity for a young guy to take his spot from him but he’ll have to give the team a “have to keep him” reason. Chad Beebe gave them a strong reason to keep him last year and someone vying for Treadwell’s spot will need to be a big guy with similar performance.

Dejo, and Remmers are gone. Although not real big cap numbers, Morgan and Collins might be gone. Reiff, Griffen, and Rudolph should be asked to restructure. They might also opt to re-sign Waynes this off-season to a more cap friendly figure that's backloaded with a big signing bonus.
No matter how they slice it, I think we'll be lucky to have 25 million in cap space. |
