Why does Barr make it every year?  If you look at this board most are over him at this point. Are we all dramatically under valueing him?

I can say whichever team gets him as a FA is going to look at his track record of being a prowbowler and think they hit a home run.

Agreed.  I don't see this year's stats warranting a Pro Bowl selection.  Kendricks has almost double the tackles.

I think it just shows the flaws in fan voting. I miss the old All Pro Team

Y'all beat me to it.  He's on the team... while O'Neill, Diggs, and our DBs are left off of it?  Hmmmm...

If Barr goes they are going to need to use their first round pick to replace him.  So there goes that pick that could gave been used on an offensive lineman.

You guys do seriously undervalue him.

He has looked different the last two games. It seems they are using him more to rush the QB. If that's how they're going to use him and he keeps having the impact he has the last two games, then he may be worth it.  It's not as simple as needing to spend a first round pick to replace him. We will get a pick back if he leaves - assuming we do not sign a comparable level FA to offset Barr's departure. But signing Barr to a big deal could mean letting someone else walk (Richardson?) . . . unless the cap goes up by quite a bit.  Let's see how he finishes the season.

Barr is going to be that big splash FA that some team with alot of cap space and not much talent is going to sell to their fans. I like Barr I think he's a great player. However I see him as a great role player on a good defense. He is not the defensive field general type that the teams flows through. I believe he will want to be paid like one though. That's were the sticking point will be...imo. Good luck in Tampa next year.
