Mike Zimmer said the chances are "pretty good" the Vikings will have Anthony Barr and Xavier Rhodes on Sunday.
So there, no jinx!

Zimmer saying that means zero. He could already know that they won’t play this Sunday and still say their chances are pretty good.

Chances are "pretty good" that...

A. Zimmer has zero credibility when it comes to talking about injuries
B. Zimmer has not learned his lesson from Dalvin Cook
C. Playing either Barr or Rhodes before they are ready would be unwise
D. All of the above

I think its pretty close to 100% that Holton Hill will be starting for Rhodes. Gulp.

Has there been a clarification what injury Rhodes has?  Injury report sez foot, but that is pretty vague.

Looking at the Saints on Wednesday, tackle Bushrod DNP because of the loss of their child, guard LeRibeous DNP, center Unger DNP.  Unger is probably the most important of their line.  Center and guard are so important for Brees to open throwing lanes because he is only 6'.
