What's your bright spot vs most disappointing a quarter into it?

Bright Spot: My top 2 are Hughes and Weatherly.
I'll say Hughes for now. Kid has played outside, Nickel and ST's

Disappointment: Cook vs Barr
Anthony Barr for me fully realizing Zimm put him into some tough spots schematically.

Bright spots: The passing game.  This team has been a run first team for so long, it's refreshing to see we can win games as a passing team.  Cousins, AT, Diggs, Rudy, and even Treadwell lately have all been fun to watch.

Disappointment: The running game, defense, kickers, and punter.

The Oline was something I thought would improve since last season, but so far it's taken steps backwards. Hopefully soon that changes.

The D has been exposed.  All of the big plays downfield is not something we're used to with a Zim D.  This can't happen if we're going to be a playoff team or good to great QBs will kill us every week.  A consistent pass rush is lacking, and Zim needs to find inventive ways to pressure QBs.

Cook: it sucks he's injured again.  He's a great player, but he can't seem to stay healthy for games.  He could be a difference maker.

Hopefully Bailey calms down the kicking anxiety, but he hasn't done that yet.  I don't think this new punter is our answer for years to come either.  Not sure why he's considered better than Quigley.

Brighter than the sun:  Cousins AT and Diggs.

Black Spot of death:  Kicking game.  Shit, Adam Vinateri would probably turn down a job here at this point.  The ghost of Morton Anderson lives on.  Maybe Donald Igwebuike put a hex on us.

Light: Weatherly and O'Neill. O'Neill was totally lost and manhandled at the Senior Bowl. But things are looking up.

Dark: Griffen and whatever high school team stole our uniforms and pretended to be Vikings against the Bills

Bright: Kirk. AT. Diggs. the fact that we have played horribly in comparison to last year and were a kick away from 2-1 on the road vs GB, LA (lost by a TD) and Philly.

Dark: Everson. No willingness to make OL changes

I have a lot of hope due to the schedule and the law of averages in that this defense will regain its top 10 form this year.

top 10 D plus this offense?  I still see 11 wins

Bright spot: Kirk Cousins

Disappointing spot: The defense.
If you'd have said the Vikings would score 31 point against the Rams and 29 on the road against Green Bay and come out with a loss and tie, I'd have laughed. Its not funny right now.

The defense has been a huge disappontment.  The O line has also disappointed. Our kicking game sucks.

Cousins is at least as good as I had hoped, probably better.

We can turn these around. If we don’t this season will be a disappointment.

Bright spot for me has to Kirk Cousins. I already knew Diggs and Thielen were amazing. Cousins is proving to me what I also thought but needed more evidence.

Disappointing- It would be easy to say the OL which is incredibly horrible and it was predictable. But the thing that disappoints me the most has been the overall defense. They did play better last week. But with how much is invested in that D they should be the major factor of us winning games and not the reason we are losing games.

Bright spot? None.

Disappointing? The way the Viking players dress. Their suits look like shit. Somebody needs to say something.
