Let me first say. Khalil Mack is a great player. But with that said I would not give up what the Bears did plus need to pay the guy around 20 million (perhaps more) per year. The value is not there for the position and role he plays. The League over-values sacks I feel like. One player doesn't make a D clearly. Not one year with the great Mack (on a reasonable deal mind you) did the Raiders have a top 16 D. As a matter of fact I believe the best D they had with him was ranked 19th. And this is with him under a reasonable contract. Bears do have a good D already and this will instantly boost there D up a decent amount. But in terms of maintaining that young talent on D they will be having trouble. Especially if Trubby is the guy.
