Gotta believe Zimmer will be interested, and feeling could be mutual. Can we afford him? I think Bengals are eating a big chunk of his guaranteed money.

Could be a good move,  but do you risk lockerroom chemistry on the top ranked D from last year by replacing a starter this close to the end of camp?

I think Zimmer likes him very much....but some team will make him a much better offer or have more true interest than Minnesota.

But the safety market has been so weird this year (Eric Reid, Kenny Vaccaro, and Tre Boston were all on the market far longer than anyone expected) so I don't know if Iloka will be pursued aggressively.

It may also be that Zimmer sees Iloka in Harrison Smith's role - enforcer who can play like a LB at times - and doesn't see the need to replace Sendejo until he can get a true coverage safety.
