These commentators in this Jets/Redskins game. Saying that Cousins is afraid to throw into tight windows. Did they miss his previous games? They are hyping up Alex Smith and Sam Darnold big time. Anyone watching?
Wait what?

Booger was just echoing what the Redskins told him in getting his pregame information. This is what that organization has been saying about Cousins, trying to convince themselves and the fans they got an upgrade in Smith. They've been very catty about Cousins, badmouthing him since his signing in Minnesota. Its a poor look for that organization but also not surprising. I watched and heard exactly what you said and just shook my head.

Booger should consider his sources before commenting on personnel decisions. Washington has not been the greatest model. That's the bad thing about pre-season broadcasts. They are for local propaganda. That's Synder's game. He's more about the sell then the win anymore. Him and Jones have taken teams that should be easy sells and made them jokes to all but their loyals.

Well, if Cousins is the stud that we all hope he will be, then the propaganda will be shown for what it was/is. Hopefully, Cousins leaves no doubt... and leaves them all with a big #$#$(#-burger to eat.

You have to admit Danny boy is a marketing genius...haha. Dump Kirk pick up a 5 year older version of Kirk then sign him to a 4 year $94 million deal and sell it as a big upgrade. In 7 trips to the playoffs with far better teams then the 3 years Kirk had with Washington he's produced 2 wins. Though I won't say the loses were Alex's fault. However??? Is not the perception of him is that he's not clutch? So you sell him to the fans as a total upgrade over Kirk because Cousins couldn't get the job done. I heard a local DC area DJ on a nation radio broadcast. Cowherd I think??? Anyhow he wasn't selling it as a upgrade. His take was they did the best they could do. Wow that was an endorsement. Dan might be selling his BS to the fans but the locals covering the team are not buying. He's run a once proud franchise into the dumpster. Then lit it up...lol.

Very good points made in this thread...
So much QB intrigue out there this seasons. I can't recall a season with as much with the Vikings jettisoning 3 into the mkt, promising new rooks, Cousins, Smith...Probably some I'm missing

They are trying to sell it but I don't know who is buying. It's not a good look to bad mouth a guy for leaving. He put in the work. He never got in trouble. Snyder is not a fan friendly owner. He just wants his cash and to put anyone in check that tries to stand up to him. Nothing against Alex Smith. Happy he got paid. And the commentators were all sympathetic there too. Poor Alex wasn't feeling wanted in Kansas City. But wasn't that the same situation for Cousins? Oh wait no that doesn't matter. But I was happy to see Teddy again. That was the only reason I was watching.

I'll just add I believe he loves the money but he was rich before he bought the team. He's more about the celebrity he gets by being 1 of 32. However like Jerry even that's not enough. He NEEDS to be one of thee most recognized of the 32. Low class man, high class wealth bracket.
