Seemed like a weird drill.  Was it just 1 on 1? but everyone else was lined up.  But nobody else moved.  Maybe that was his excuse this time?

If it’s any consolation to Kalil, the Panthers can’t release him from his contract without losing money until 2020. He has dead money hits of $20.6 million, $14.7 million and $9.8 million in each of the next three seasons. So he’s a made man despite getting beaten up and down the football field by Jordan and the rest of the Saints defensive line.

He is going to rival Bradford for making so much doing so little.

Too Funny, especially after he rolled out his all new 2018 list of excuses

” ...In fact, he told the team’s official website he didn’t really feel all the way comfortable until midway through training camp, and then once the season got going, it took even more time for Kalil to adjust to the Panthers’ style of play, while still trying to find his footing after the surgery

Even his brother is standing there like, 'jeeze get your **** together dude."

God, I thought Kalil was going to be a mainstay on that OL for years after his rook season. Too bad.

Ah Yes, Matt Kalil... The same tool who brought us such heart warming excuses for his horrible "matador" like play as our QB gets pounded - "Just did not feel right all season".

Last year it was this wonderful quote that excused his bad play over the years in Minnesota -hint, it wasn't his fault - it was his coaches fault:

"Kalil, now a member of the Carolina Panthers after signing with them this offseason, said that his new offensive line coach John Matsko is the first coach he has ever had to demand excellence out of his players."

Yes Matt, thank God you got signed / over paid by the Panthers where the coach demands excellence. Shame you can't demand excellence FROM YOURSELF you moron. Then you might not be tagged as "Speedbump McGee" by another Pro. Good riddance.

The only question that's left at this point is whether he's self-delusional and believes his own bullshit or says it trying to just fool others.

And maybe which week we see the switch from making excuses about last season to making excuses about this season. I'm going to take Carolina's bye week.

How someone can go from probowl to toilet bowl so fast is amazing to me.  I was so glad when we flushed that turd--too bad we waited that long cut our losses.
