Put a band aid on it and lets go. It's not like he was on Omaha Beach.

Dude seriously? Did you read that he cut a tendon and was working out in socks till he could get shoes on? He was still working through it. No one said anything about Omaha Beach. Those were some amazing soldiers.

Broke a bone in my right hand, it was put in a cast, sawed the cast off just to play the game, and played the whole season before it was treated. Sprained an ankle, taped it up and played the rest of the game. Got the middle finger nail completely torn off my finger, taped it up and played the rest of the game. Got my nose broke, played the rest off the game. This was all high school. I'm sorry that  I did not come from the pussy generation who if they get a hang nail refuses to play. I got the W.W. II mentality that no longer exists. On Omaha Beach, you just kept going. Lucky for you they did or Hitler would have put you and your whole family in a ditch!
