FIFA World Cup

It really is unreal that the men's U.S. team didn't make the field for the World Cup. Talk about taking the sport a step backward in this country. I don't like soccer, but during the World Cup, I like it because the whole country gets behind one team and its fun when Team USA is in. Patriotism on display and you get caught up in it, especially if you are out at a sports bar and its full of soccer fans. Goal scoring is so dramatic and people lose their minds, its fun.

I wouldn't watch even if USA was in it. I have no interest. I guess for national pride it would be great if Team USA did good. Just I can't get into this sport. I don't like important games that can end in ties. I don't like teams playing for or defending a tie game to advance. If they played till a winner was decided it might he more interesting to me because there would be less playing keep away.

lol, it may as well be as far as the interest in soccer in the U.S.!
