Did the Packers make a mistake in cutting Jordy Nelson?
#1
I hadnt seen it discussed.  I was just wondering what the thoughts are out there.
A short time ago he was seen as the only reciever Erin had.

At 13 millin for two years, Did Oakland over pay?

Time will tell.  It's hard to say for now.  It does seem Jordy was a bit shafted at the time of his release, at least by the analysts.  I heard several trying to suggest he wasn't the same guy after a sub-par season, but put little of that issue on Hundley.  Jordy only played four full games before they showed up in Minnesota and he already had six touchdowns.  Down goes Rodgers and Hundley is out there drop-kicking passes at him the rest of the season.  During the season they were all wondering if he'd return to form when Rodgers came back.  We didn't reeeally see much of an opportunity for that, but what we did see is that their team was shit without Aaron.  I don't think Jordy should shoulder the blame for that.

I THINK Carr will be able to utilize Jordy pretty well and he'll earn that pay.

all good points Clobimon.  Of course his stats would suffer!

You have to wonder what Erin thinks of them letting his favorite target go.  He really struggled while Nelson was out.  Im surprised by it.

He definitely didn't help Hundley, I'm surprised Clay Matthews wasn' cut.

Aaron Rodgers on Jordy Nelson: "I know there's a lot of juice left in 87. I'd like to fill that up this week."

One can only hope he has his best years ahead of him.

Fuck the Packers and their fans.

The guy reminds me of Steve Largent. He just knows how to get open.

yeah no doubt. I more than happy to have the packers keep trotting out the washed up clay mathews as the stud of their defense.
