And yet still managed to make the playoff's 2 of the last 3 seasons...Get the QB right and move on.

The most important position in the league (QB) and the Vikings are still mucking around with it....its my only sigh moment left with this team. But its a big one. Its a talented roster, built to succeed. Dalvin Cook's return is going to be impactful for the offense.

Just need to make the right choice at QB, whatever that might be: just let it pan out. Football is so much fun all year long when the Vikings are true NFC contenders. I'm greedy and don't want that to stop.

Im with you on this one Sticky.  I dont recall ever seeing a situation which compares.  The normal school of thought was that you try to sign these guys to contracts during the season.  It’s a win-win as the player gets some security in a payday and the team saves some money.  They knew these guys would be in demand and could have dealt one of them for a high draft pick and let the other two fight it out in camp.

That would be the normal backstory.  I wonder what happened behind the scenes.  Did they not see what anyone they wanted for the future and decided to keep their options open? Was there disagreement on who should be the future? Did they try to sign any of them but the players wanted to wait for FA?  Geoff makes a case for them waiting until after the season but I dont tend to agree to that line of wisdom.

Ive got a lot of faith in the current staff but its still puzzling to me.
