All in all, a pretty weak lot of commercials this year.  And oh goodie...another Star Wars, Jurassic Park and Mission Impossible!

Who says there's no creativity in Hollyweird anymore? Wink

Well, so I had said I wasn't going to watch the game, but I ended up deciding to watch since it was in our stadium.
The commercials: The Amazon and NFL commercials were pretty damn funny I thought. There were a couple of others that weren't too bad. Overall, I think the "entertainment" level of SB ads was down a lot this year.
The halftime show: I am not a big Justin Timberlake fan but the halftime show was pretty damn good. The aerial shot they did of the stadium and surrounding buildings when they lit up purple and then Prince's symbol lit up was AWESOME. The hologram of Prince was very cool. I really enjoyed that. Timberlake actually sang rather than lip synced.
The game: Well, it was the thing I paid the least attention to on the night...lol...it was a competitive game, thought Brady was being set up for a miracle again at the end, but wow...a fumble and then they just ran out of gas. Nick Foles looked exceptional in his 3 playoff appearances....wondering if they'll be trading him to some purgatory like Cleveland this offseason...
I have to begrudgingly admit that the Eagles (the TEAM, not the asshole fans) really deserved this SB title. They are the best team in the NFL. They have a great O-line, 2 great QBs, very stout defense (though Brady hung up a lot of yards on them tonight), and just not many weaknesses. They can run the ball well, they can sling it well. They have a hell of a good coaching staff. They deserved to be champions.
That being said, I REFUSE to look at any other football sites until the draft rolls around. I won't let my eyes endure the pukefest of Eagles fans celebrating and posturing like a bunch of dickheads.

There were a few decent commercials, but really nothing side-splitting.  The Ram one with the Vikings was a kick to the head. Confused

We actually laughed really hard at that one.  It was a great jab and I thought it was very innovative.

We were wondering if they had a separate ending planned had the Vikings made it.  I imagine they did and probably even filmed the necessary pieces.

I was thinking the same.  Probably put much more into the ending if the Vikings made it.

My favorite one was the dancing Giants.  On the whole wasn't too impressed with the commercials
