Defensive end. I think you need more guys to fit the rotation for Zimmer. We need a G as well.

I said I think you need to go G round 1 and get a 3 tech and DE in the first 3 rounds.

Billy Price at #30 would be great value and fit...give a pocket to step up into and strengthen those interior runs Cook is so good at...

I think this is the year the Vikings should go big!  Obviously, Brees is staying in New Orleans and I am guessing that the Skins will at least transition tag Keenum making other teams set his market which they probably will match unless they are completely mental.

I would love to see the Vikings do whatever it took to jump up to #3 to try and get Josh Allen or another QB if you like someone else (like Josh Rosen or Sam Darnold).  Yes it will cost three first round picks including this years or a combination of those picks and a player (Anthony Barr?).  But maybe it will pay off?

I think Allen is similar to Wentz in stature and athleticism but needs some development.

In the meantime, I would likely extend Keenum (4 year 72 to 78 mil) and go very hard after a guard in free agency.  Andrew Norwell would be very nice but I think the Panthers will figure out a way to keep him although they might not.  They gave Matt Kalil that huge deal and they gave Trai Turner a huge deal.  Their right tackle Darryl Williams performed very well this year and will be a free agent in 2019.  Ryan Kalil is a free agent in 2019 too.

They drafted Taylor Moton in the 2nd round last year and he may be the player they want to take over for Norwell.  They could be tapped out in terms of spending on the offensive line at least for this year.

Norwell is going to cost 11 mil per year at the least but would be worth it IMHO.

If they do not go for a guard in free agency then I would hope they target a defensive tackle like a Sheldon Richardson or Dontari Poe in free agency.

But really, once they go get a QB then they can try to sign players later in free agency to one year cheaper prove it deals.

I doubt they go for it but I think losing a couple of first round picks is not that bad when you consider they lost the last two first round picks.  Treadwell and Bradford have not proved to be worth that investment.
