So its obvious now that he wasn't healthy last season. So is that why he ran such an incredibly slow 40? Can he be a starting WR in 2017?

Hopefully he's no worse than the #4 WR...Treadwell was never a blazer...I think he's a mid 4.5 guy which is fast enough...

I think too much was made of Treadwell's "slow" 40 time...  while he was never a speed demon in college, he had plenty of quickness to get open.  It looks like his explosion is back and I would expect him to look like a completely different WR this season.

Yup, he definitely looked more fluid in OTAs and mini camp...he'll win with positioning and winning the contested catch...Not burning CBs on a 9...

This is what it is...a rumor...something media can kick around to draw attention or just have something to gap about.  I really hate this part of professional football.

That would make sense on his year. I do know that he wasn't fully healthy coming out. Just didn't think it was like this.
Treadwell could get away with not being fully healthy playing against college level DBs but when it came to the pros he couldn't cheat his routes anymore.

All I know is that guy was dropping catches he should have made in TC last year and in preseason as well. But he was sure handed in college.
Now maybe that's because he was thinking too much because of injury? If he could somehow turn out to be a legit starter that would help this offense immensely.

Hopefully with these injuries behind him from last year...Threadwell could sure take the pressure off of Floyd until his return from suspension and for Bradford being another reliable receiver.  I really hope it works out this way.

By all accounts he was brutal at training camp...Maybe now we know why...when Floyd comes back we'll have a lot of options/combinations of WRs to throw out there for Sam...
