Big matchup between New Orleans and the Rams. Either team that loses, helps the Vikings in playoff tiebreakers....oh, and we finally have reason to pull for the Steelers tonight, as they look to continue the Packer slide!

Thanksgiving leftovers - how good was the 1969 Viking Super Bowl team defense? They had just 88 yds passing, 173 total yds on Thanksgiving 1959, and beat Detroit 27-0! #vikings

Thanksgiving leftovers #2: when The 1988 Vikings beat the Lions 23-0 on Thanksgiving day, the Viking defense held Detroit to 18 rushing yards, and 60 total offensive yards! @keithjmillard75 @HenryThomasNFL #vikings

Searching for a reason for the Vikings 9-2 record? Look no further than the OLine. 2016 Vikes thru 11 games, they gave up 26 sacks & rushed for just 784 yds (2.84 avg), and in 2017 MInn has givin up just 12 sacks & has rushed for 1,369 (3.9 avg) #vikings

Pat Elflein has been superb anchoring this Viking offensive line, but Riley Reiff has given up ZERO sacks from his blindside tackle spot in 11 games - that is ALL-PRO level performance. @elflein65 @RileyRieff #vikings @casekeenum7

Only 9 times have the Vikings gone more than 11 games without being beaten 3 times: 3 were Super Bowl Years ('69, 73, 76) & 6 times, they at LEAST got to the NFC Championship games. Keep your calendar free in January...  #vikings

Talent wins in the NFL. A solid head coach can take talent to a new level, but ask Packer fans if they'd rather have Mike McCarthy, or Aaron Rodgers right now.

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 25
When we spoke to Paul Allen after the game vs the Lions, we asked him how his broadcast was, and he said, "I felt pretty good about it". We listened to a replay - he was modest. Most enthusiastic broadcaster in the NFL - dial him in!  @PAOnTheMic #vikings

Unbiased opinion - the people at Ford Field were great, but architecturally, the Lion's stadium is a big barn, while US Bank Stadium is a piece of art...state of the art.  #vikings@LesterBagley

About Ben Gedeon - starts as a rookie, replaces a Viking legend (Greenway) and you never hear of him missing an assignment. What more could you ask?

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 24
Vikings have skills all over the place, but the key to success is both the Off and Def lines. No Def line pressure = problems stopping the pass. OLine has been superb.

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 24
Forget the Lions, Bears and Packers, now the question that Viking fans need to ask is "can the Vikings beat Philadelphia, Carolina (we will find out), New Orleans (we found out), LA (we found out) and Seattle. Now it gets fun!  #vikings

Let us give thanks-the greatest thanksgiving gift of all: not one person is talking about the Packers or Aaron Rodgers.

Thanksgiving Day:
Our 1st of 3 Pregame reports from Ford Field Today #vikings  (Were our prediction right in pregame?)

Our 2nd of 3 Pregame Reports from Ford Field Today  #vikings

Vikes turn a 3 and out - Coverage pressing very tight early

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Time of possession is a huge stat for the Vikings this year. When they keep opposing offenses off the field at least 32 minutes, they win.

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
You have to see him live to understand what a great route runner Adam Thielen is.

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Diggs shows a "want to" on that reception. He was well short of the 1st down and drive for the sticks.

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Vikings we all business coming out of the locker room for kickoff. Single-file, no one talking, just focused.

On Rudolph's 1st TD Catch
VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Kyle Rudolph was so open, the nearest defender was 5 minutes away by Phone!

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Beautiful QB draw. I mean, every Lion bit on the McKinnon sweep

Near end of 1st Quarter
 VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23

Remember that Time of Possession we told you to watch? 8 minutes for Minnesota, just 4 for Detroit

You almost never hear his name mentioned, but that was fantastic punt by Quigley to pin Detroit deep

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Pass rush of Vikings being largely negated by Lion line; giving Stafford time to find 3rd and 4th receiving options

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
We often hate the defensive holding call. We wish it were a 5 yard penalty, but not a 5 yards and automatic first down
VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Case is so decisive. He saw the hole open up to the right and never hesitated to run and pick up the first down

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Vikings bracketing deep receivers and not giving Stafford any deep looks/shots

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Sherels is such a savvy punt returner. He somehow always gets a few "junk" yards, no matter how tight the coverage is. We will take 10 yards

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Case shows how thin the margin of error is between INT and huge gain. He takes chances and makes plays

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
As we said in pregame, Jarius Wright's ability to go underneath on slants picks up easy 1st downs

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Keenum hung in as long as he could, took a shot, and delivers a perfect pass to Rudolph. Championship mentality

When the Vikings went up 27-10
VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
It's still early, but can you Viking fans smell that? Someone just opened up a can of "whoop-ass"

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Case has a 147.5 QB rating going into the half. He is in a zone and a groove. What's the ceiling?

After last Lion Drive of the 1st Half
VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Not a good defensive sequence there, but we get ball first in 2nd half. We repeat, watch time of Possession. It is 18 min to 12 for Minnesota. Defenses can't be out there 35 minutes....

In the first half, Vikings had 39 offensive plays, the Lions just 24

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
For those worried about Forbath after the blocked kicks, he has taken a bit of extra halftime practice and hitting FGs as long as 56 with 4-5 yards to spare

(before the open of the 1st half - Vikings would get 71 yards rushing in the one drive after this tweet!)
VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Vikings will need a better (more consistent) running game in the 2nd half to keep the Lions from pinning back their ears on a pass rush

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
The 2nd half running holes are literally big enough to drive a semi-truck (or 2) through them. Vikings are just hammering the Lion D Line

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Pete Bercich always says, first team to 20 points wins....guess what?...

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Lions seems to have had the plan to run lots of screens to negate Viking pass rush, but Vike LBs blowing up the screens

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
New note to self - Lion players allowed to plow through a receiver's chest and tackle him before the ball gets there. No foul...good to know

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Huge stop by Lions to give them a shot to keep momentum. Hats off to the OLine, finally gave up a sack, after 7 games. Amazing.

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
Refs are WAY too involved in this game. Calling penalties on both teams on nearly every play. That's not good for viewers.

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
88 plays today, and 16 called penalties. Penalty on nearly 20% of plays today. Wow!

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
You don't see a QB called for taunting when he has been sacked. This is a very questionable referee crew today.

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23
4th Quarter gut-check time. The defense must step-up here, and show why the Vikings are a Championship team.

VikeFans‏ @VikeFans  Nov 23 I guess time of possession means little. Lion drive was 33 seconds

** At this point, we had to leave the press box to go to the Locker Room for postgame interviews, so we did not tweet during the last 5 game minutes of the contest.

Having been timid to twitter I can tell you that it is worth getting over that timidness and jumping in. There is a wealth of information there and tons of good interaction. Of course you have to have the ability to self censor mayerial you don't care for in order for it to be enjoyable. But it is worth it
