Show this to any Packers fans who are whining about the clean hit Barr put on Rodgers yesterday. Here is quite possibly the dirtiest hit of all time:
The almighty Packers would never attempt to injure a QB...oh wait

Here's one that is a little more recent and involves Clay Matthews. Thanks to ThunderGod for the find on another thread.

It will take a long, long, long, long time to ever get me to feel sorry for Packers fans.
NFL admits blown calls MINNEAPOLIS - The NFL has acknowledged its officiating crew made at least nine mistakes during Sunday's Green Bay-Minnesota game, including a key pass interference call. The mistakes were documented in a confidential memorandum, the Star Tribune and St. Paul Pioneer Press said, citing unidentified sources. The Vikings (3-10) lost the game 26-22 in Green Bay. Eight of the affected plays occurred in the fourth quarter, when the Packers (10-3) made up a nine-point deficit with two touchdowns. An interference call negated a Vikings' interception on the Packers' game-winning drive.

Matthews is always flying into someone. He usually jumps on top of the QB/RB/WR, doesnt wrap up just goes in for any kind of hit he can get and lands with his full body weight and force on the player. Biggest D-Bag in football.
Anyone read the article where he was saying Rodgers had the right to be pissed at Barr.

Quote: @Riphawkins said:Is this what you are referring to? Barr hit Rodgers on a roll-out pass to his right and maintained contact with the quarterback all the way to the ground. Rodgers appeared to yell at Barr as he walked off the field with the Packers' medical staff. "I saw Aaron jawing at him," Packers linebacker Clay Matthews said. "Aaron can take a hit and get up and respect it, but I'm sure he had a little something to say and rightfully so." Hundley said he could understand why Rodgers wouldn't like the hit. "I'm sure he didn't, yeah," Hundley said. "I mean, who would?" Rodgers did not speak to reporters after the game. Barr was not available to reporters either because he left the game due to a concussion. |
