Your pound the table for guy is...

Mine is D'Angelo Ponds - a dawg who put the bite in the Hoosier D.

I say that acknowledging CB is not a positions in need as much as others - but it's not deep either.

Sometimes you just draft good players who can make a difference on their side of the ball and in the locker room. Their total pkg transcends measurables.

Honestly, no one at 18 is a must have guy or my night is ruined.

At 49, I will also at least strum the table for Ponds. Lee Hunter will have me fist clenched pounding depending on what happens at 18. A couple S prospects would also have me rapping the table loudly.

After that, I’m pounding the table with my shoe for Claiborne or Delp. Probably at 97.

Someone mentioned this is a draft to try to hit doubles. Kinda makes a lot of sense.

That describes me too...I mean unless Downs is sitting there at 15? I'm not holding my breath at 18.

Sticking with the 2nd round, which is where Ponds will go, I'd probably choose Jacob Rodriguez as my top cork popper. Purple shots all around if Caleb Banks drops to 49. Love the middle round receivers Lance, Hurst and Stribling...and the TE Oscar Delp.

He's risky and we won't take him, but Jordyn Tyson is a guy three years from now people are going to be furious at how a playoff team at the end of round one drafted the best WR in this class.

Nick Singleton, who I think may be the most underrated player in the draft, had he not gotten hurt at the Senior Bowl and missed the combine and pro day, think he would be considered one of the top RBs after Love. Has the size, speed and strength to be a big time RB. Total physical freak, 6'0", 220, 435 bench, 665 squat and sub 4.40. He shared time with Allen at Penn State which cut into his stats. Also a great receiver who can line up outside. After Love, by far my favorite RB in the draft.

Jalon Kilgore is another guy who I feel has been under the radar, although it now looks like he is gaining some steam. Possibly one of the best safeties in the class who really brings it. He is also very versatile and can play CB as well.
