The Vikings have the sixth best win percentage in the NFL (.632) since Kevin O’Connell took over the team in 2022 per

I'm in. People like to dog on KOC, but he has two 13+ win seasons and has managed 7 and 9 wins in the other two when his starting QB has missed significant time. He knows how to find ways to win and motivate guys.

I fully expect the Kyler Murray signing to light a fire under JJ McCarthy. Expecting big things from our QB room. Plus we don't have Addison suspended and the OL should be a hell of a lot healthier now that Darrisaw is another off-season removed from his major knee injury.

I'm in as well. Self admitted big fan of KOC, I think he finds a way to win some games with that QB room. At this stage of my fandom, I must see it first of course, but I have optimism. Hopefully the team can break into the territory of playoffs wins and beyond. Staying relatively healthy would be a nice place to start. Figure out the center position, hopefully they snag a draft pick there and let him compete with Brandel....would be nice to have someone there long-term with the rest of the line.

I'm a little worried about our defense taking a step back. Hargrave and Allen were not successful here, but they were 17 game starters that have to be replaced, and I fear the hyphens aren't ready.

The offense, on the other hand, with a veteran QB who is a weapon in his own right, is going to be damn hard to stop. With the Packers, Lions and Bears taking a couple hits, Vikings should again contend for the division title. Injuries will have a lot to say about who takes it, but injuries tend to be cyclical and we had more than our share last year.

Brandel held his own last year and could still improve given a full training camp at one position. Still, having the NFL's tallest center and the NFL's shortest QB is probably not ideal. Assuming the Vikings do what we all expect and take one of the top four centers in round three—Slaughter, Jones, Lew and Hecht—we should be in good shape there.

I like our QB room a lot better. I have no idea if KM will work. My guess is he'll look absolutley fantastic for a couple weeks and then get injured like he does every year. We have a hole at center and need help in the WR and RB rooms. On defense, they pretty much need to add help at every level except OLB.

As a fan, I've seen just about everything. 1986 we were just one win from the playoffs and there were a couple of very close losses that season. Also in 2003 we were just one win away. 2025, one win away as we finished 8th. I wonder if we ever had two years in a row finishing one game from the playoffs?

I'm also all in on KOC this season. I think the Vikings will have a successful draft this time around and get some quality players. Hopefully, they will address the interior defensive line and cornerbacks first, then running backs and inside linebackers next.
With Brez along with KOC and Flo, they should have a solid draft plan in place.

I'm in. I think that the continuity with Flores is a HUGE plus for the team, and that the QB room should bear fruit and depth this season. Brez, KOC, and Flores will be very aware of this draft's importance, and should address it with eyes toward it being among our best.

It's gonna be a long wait for September.
KOC, JJM, Flores...make a good plan, or you'll be following Kwesi....

I’m always in because the Vikes are my favorite form of entertainment so what other choice do I have l lol.

I still have lots of faith in O’Connell and Flores and good coaching matters a lot in the NFL so I think we’ll be decent. But if I’m being honest, I was more confident and excited at this time last year for The Dawning of A New Era with our Franchise Savior McCarthy. The team gassed him up, the team rolled him out there despite many other roads they could’ve taken, and the entire situation was a debacle from snap 1. Ugh. And we still had a fine W/L record!

This year I’m not gonna believe a word outta Vikes FO until I see how Kyler looks with the team on the field. If he’s rejuvenated we’re in business. If he’s the same guy he was the past few years in Arizona, this may go badly. Too early to say.

So yeah I think it’ll be a competitive season and we’ll all have some fun. Just lemme see what we do in the draft before I start thinking about Lombardis though.
